Nutravae1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using the Nutravae app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. What Nutravae is — and isn’t
Nutravae is an educational tool that helps you understand foods in the context of your health profile. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using it does not create a doctor–patient or provider relationship. It is not a substitute for the judgment of your physician, dietitian, pharmacist, or other qualified professional. Always seek their advice for medical or dietary decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where required by law) and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.
4. Your account
If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
5. Estimates, accuracy & allergen safety
Nutrition values, scores, and ingredient explanations are estimates generated from third-party databases and AI, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Nutravae may miss or misidentify ingredients or allergens. Do not rely on Nutravae alone for allergy or medical safety. Always verify ingredients and nutrition against the product’s actual label and with your healthcare provider. You use the information at your own risk.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by reverse-engineering it, using it unlawfully, or submitting false, harmful, or infringing content. If you submit contributions (such as restaurant or food information), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them to operate and improve the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service and its content are owned by Nutravae and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the app for its intended purpose.
8. Third-party services
Nutravae relies on third-party providers (for example, AI, database, and hosting services). Their terms and policies may also apply to your use of related features.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nutravae and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions made based on the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nutravae harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms over time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts located in California.
